Advantages of Absolute Multi-turn Encoder in Synchronous Control

The servo motor market pays more attention to the encoder with small size and thin, high resolution and low price. The understanding of "absolute value encoder" is only one of the "absolute value" that can "power failure memory. The addition of industrial Ethernet absolute value multi-turn encoder on the drive shaft brings obvious advantages in synchronous control.

1. For each motion axis, after debugging and initializing zero alignment, the absolute value coordinates will no longer change, which is almost permanently determinable. The positional relationship between each axis and other axes is almost permanently determinable in absolute value coordinates.

2. Use industrial Ethernet to connect the absolute value encoders on all transmission shafts at high speed. Clock synchronization can find the time synchronization point. All external absolute value multi-turn encoders can be seen on the same "simultaneous" aligned absolute value position coordinates.

3. With this absolute value position coordinate, a virtual movement axis, all movement axes follow this virtual movement axis, and follow synchronously. This is parallel algorithmic thinking.

4. In debugging, find the axis with slower responsiveness. The virtual axis takes care of the slower axis, or is called the "main axis". All other motion axes are synchronized with the virtual motion axis, which is equivalent to following the "main axis" synchronization.

5. Due to the fast speed of Ethernet and the recovery of synchronous clock, the synchronous calculation of all motion axes is equivalent to parallel, which has nothing to do with transmission error and wear, and has nothing to do with different load changes of load, and the uncertainty is smaller. The motion synchronization control algorithm is simple and the project success is high.

6. When debugging, the absolute value position coordinates can be used as a reference and record, and will not change after successful debugging. The debugging labor is low, the labor that does not need to return to the debugging is low, and the reliability and safety are high. Reduce uncertainty, and ultimately greatly save project costs and user costs.

For multi-axis synchronous control of motion control, if there are mechanical conditions, an industrial Ethernet absolute value multi-turn encoder (it must be a mechanical gear box type, otherwise it will seem superfluous) is installed on the transmission shaft, just like you added "plug-in" when playing games and opened an extra "eye of heaven" to see clearly what you have to do ahead and pass easily.
